Backstage with the polar bear
Dear Blog,
The Rejection Show was freezing cold, 'cause of all the snow outside. But it was also super-crowded. People had to sit on the floor so we gave up our seats and hung out back stage with a polar bear. And if you're hanging out backstage at PS 122, here's an important reminder: don't touch the wall--there's poop on it! No kidding. The polar bear, however, was not responsible for the poop. Later the bear slow-danced with Jon Friedman, a sixth-grader, and a girl.
I ate half of a pink frosted cupcake and then we talked to Gale (or is it Gail? . . . or did I get her name wrong completely?) from NPR about what it feels like to be rejected. She was really nice and I f-word LOVE NPR, but it's hard to talk about being rejected. Now I am very tired because I had a glass of merlot after the show and got home sort of late. That is all. Being tired is boring.
Love,
Sydney
