The Debate Society's The Decameron

Paul, our hot harpist, is having a fundraiser for his awesome theater company, The Debate Society. You should note that this awesome event features The Hazzards' friends Mike Birbiglia, Christian Finnegan, Kambri Crews, Kyle Jarrow (from The Fabulous Entourage), Casimir Nozkowski, and our drummer Will Carlough. Yeah! It also features eating and drinking.

It'll be hekka fun!

The proceeds from The Decameron will go towards The Debate Society’s upcoming production of The Eaten Heart (inspired by characters and events from The Decameron) and to our community partner for the production: God’s Love We Deliver, a local organization that provides meals to New Yorkers, who because of an illness cannot provide for themselves.

We're recording another theme song tonight at Anne's house. Will brought his baby drums, but he decided to use the drum machine instead. That's why he's tapping so furiously on this tiny box. Anne is manning the controls on the Fostex. We can't figure out how to use tracks six and eight, but we'll work it out.

Will wishes there was a click track, but we can't figure out how to do that either, so we strap a metronome to his shoulder like he's a pirate.

If we do a good job of recording, we can play Wii when we are done.
