It's on, Arnold!

Sydney and I were on Liquid News tonight! We chatted with Paddy and Claudia about all the hot entertainment news of the day. I never knew I had such strong feelings for Meg Ryan and such stong feelings against Arnold Schwarzeneggar. I declared on live television that he "talks like a freak" How you like me now, kindegarten cop??

Afterwards we went with our Better The Devil Records friends to Curry Paradise for a Ruby. That's right, we're learning Cockney rhyming slang! It was so delicious we had to unbuckle our matching skirts a little.

We're cream crackered.
Until next time,
Anne

The Sun Webchat

We made it to The Sun this afternoon and we had a nice little webchat. Then we posed for some pictures "chatting" in front of the computer. One of the questions was about whether or not we touched each other's boobs like Atomic Kitten does. The answer is: No. But we guessed that question was sent in by our favorite Lance Chestnut. We were right! Nice question, Lance. They said Lance sent a bunch of crazy questions in, but that was the only one that made it to the webchat. They must have been pretty cheeky questions if they didn't make the cut.

The webchat should be posted on The Sun's website sometime next week.

We thank you for your continued support, Lance.

I'm Welsh!

Cary-Ann Millenship, you'll be happy to know that I am related to the Sumners of PontyPool in SE Wales.

Big ups to my great grandparents!

Anne

Piano Bar!!! Karaoke from the comfort of your own home....

Just got back from the Sadie Nine Show...despite Anne's vocal fatigue the show was AMAZING. After our interview, they had their regular piano bar segment. Listeners call in from home and sing along with live piano accompaniment. There were some stirring hits from regular callers but the highlight had to be first-time caller Adele's rendition of "I Will Survive". She forgot half the words but it was still a smash! David, the amazing pianist, rocked out so hard to it that he nearly knocked his headphones off. ROCK! We will DEFINITELY be tuning in to Sadie's show Wednesday nights for more from the Piano Bar. ...and we've been given the green light to call in ourselves. Listen Wednesday nights and give it a shot if you're brave.

We Love Dougie!

We were on RI:SE this morning! Very very early... We met Phixx and saw Mikey's naked, oily, clenched bottom. Fun times! We finally woke up in hour 2 to tell all of the UK that we like pizza. It's the truth. Pizza tastes good!

Thanks to Sarah Cant for her beautiful hotpink feather hairclips!

We really do love Dougie.

The Betsey Trotwood!

Last night after appearing live on BBC 6 Music with Tom Robinson we raced over to the Betsey Trotwood for a good old fashioned Hazzards show.

As soon as we got there, we threw on our Zombie Girl costumes and hid in the alcove next to the stage as people arrived. The show was so fun, possibly the most fun show ever. The room was perfect, great for sing-alongs. ...and if you can believe it, people were singing along to all our songs, not just Gay Boyfriend and Sweet Child. ALL of them!! OK, so by people I mean Tim and Mike from Brunel University...quite possibly our biggest UK fans ever. They sent us a questionaire to fill out for their school magazine a couple weeks ago...as a joke at first, I suspect. Somehow they've become full fledged fans!! They know the words to all of our songs....and we just posted them online recently. They even brought us our favorite kind of cheese. Nice boys, those two. Hooray for them! Hooray for everyone who came to hang out with us.

We encourage anyone who's interested in a cute pub and an awesome music venue to check out the Betsey Trotwood ...and while you're down there sign a petition in favor of keeping live music in the space. Thanks to Allan and Louise for making this awesome show possible!!

On the radio tonight!

Oliver (in New York) knows our schedule better than we do. He found out that you can listen to the show we are doing tonight, the Sadie Nine Show, live on the internet. I think it airs tonight at 11 pm London time (you'll have to do the time zone math if you don't live in England).

You can listen live, and possibly view a webcast!

Thanks, Oliver!

A shout out to Lily and Rachel

We just signed our first U.K. autographs.
Two sweet girls asked us for our autographs when we were visiting the offices of Sugar magazine. And then we made them take a picture with us and their notebook.
Did we really sign autographs?

G-A-Y = R-A-D!

The show was awesome last night. The best part is that all the boys in the front knew all the words and not only were they singing along, they were doing the dance moves from the video--the sailor dance!!

Everyone has been so great. We met Sandy Rass (you know, from the Sandy Rass remix). He was super nice (and so cute)! And we took tons of pictures with all our new gay boyfriends. We can't believe how amazing the response is.

Were doing a webchat with The Sun tomorrow. If you have any questions, you can email them to The Sun and if you're not too cheeky we'll try our best to answer.

London is awesome. Hooray for new friends!

Love,
Anne & Sydney

We're here because we're here....

We made it!!

We're in London...or so we think....

We did a radio interview this morning on www.gaydarradio.com and appeared on a live TV show called "Loose Lips". They made us "spot the gay" and we failed. We thought they were trying to trick us! We chose the guy in the pirate shirt. weird.

We have a driver! His name is Steve and his "cheeky" reputation preceded him. We like him. He agrees that girls with purple dreadlocks are no good. Yeah Steve!!

We're doing some last minute rehearsal for our appearance at Club G-A-Y tonight. In an interesting turn of events, we'll both be singing the original version of the song and dancing to the UK remix. We hope all 1000 people dig it....but we'll settle for a solid 23.

There's more where all this came from. Our schedule for the week is crazy. We're looking forward to the cooking show on Halloween. We'll help cook some food and I think we might even be in a few food-based comedy sketches. Awesome.

So yeah, we're totally in London. We're totally on a press tour.

Lots of love to Lance Chesnut and the crew.

kisses,
Anne & Sydney
