BEN LERMAN
Ben Lerman is a New York City–based singer-songwriter, comedian, writer, and Youtubographer, originally from South Bend, Indiana. He co-founded the Isotoners (www.myspace.com/isotoners), for which he wrote, played keyboards and bass, and sang. For three years the Isotoners played around New York, honing themselves musically and satirically to the point where the Village Voice put them on the cover of their “Best of New York 2004" music section with a full-page photo. The band played the gay comedy rock circuit until 2005 when they discovered that there was no gay comedy rock band circuit. Ben learned to play the ukulele and ventured out on his own. He's been playing solo gigs since 2006.

Originally a ukulele duo known as The Ukes Of Hazzard, the band now features Will Carlough on drums, Andy Dickerson on bass, and Paul Thureen on harp. The Hazzards’ first hit, “Gay Boyfriend, was one of the very first viral videos. It attracted worldwide attention and propelled the single all the way to a 67 debut on the UK singles charts. The Hazzards have appeared on MTV UK, Comedy Central's "Out on the Edge" and "The World Stands Up", “Rad Girls” on Fuse, and “Special Sauce” on Starz Comedy.
