Where did all the songs go?

Our new friend Billy has a new site: dgenerate.com. It's kind of like itunes, only way cooler for a number of reasons including that they said tons of nice things about us and invited us to play spin the bottle with them. The other bands on the site are going to be awesome. Plus, you don't have to be on a stupid Mac to make it work. We love dgenerate.com. We totally want to be Billy's lawyers! Too bad we never went to law school.

Billy/dgenerate is hosting some of our songs, and you can download them for a dollar.

You may know our pop hit Gay Boyfriend, but have you heard our lo-fi favorites, such as Shut up & Makeout, SexySpirit4You, Just a Temp, or The Ballad of the Magic Ukulele? Two girls, two ukuleles and a Casio SK1. . . what else do you need?

Deep Dish Cabaret on Saturday

Dear Blog,

On Saturday, November 22 we'll be playing at Deep Dish Cabaret. The address is 675 Hudson, buzzer 3N, @ 14th and 9th. The event is from 9pm to 2am. We hear that we will be going on around 10:30. The cost of admission is $10. You have to be 21 or over, I guess that's 'cause they'll have liquor there.
They say this is a variety show. Here is some of the variety: PATRICK BORELLI, ETHAN LIPTON, ZERO BOY, MIKE ALBO, SHY BAND, BUTCHER SLIM, EUROTRASH, and THE HAZZARDS!

Doesn't that sound delicious?

We also have a bunch of shows coming up in December. You can find out more about them at hazzards.com.

Love,
The Hazzards

P.S. We know for a fact that Patrick Borelli wears knickers to hockey practice (that's knickers in a "ye olde short pants" way, not in a "British lady's undergarment" way).

Dear Diary- Show SUNDAY 11/9!

Dear Diary,
England was sooooo cool but we're really happy to be back in America.
We're celebrating our return with a free show SUNDAY night!

My Mom's gonna be there! ....and if she knew we use swear words we'd be in MAJOR TROUBLE. Oh my god, I really hope I don't accidentally swear in front of her. Maybe if I write down all the swears I know here, I'll get it out of my system.  Ready, diary? f*cksh*tc*nt*ssh*l*p*n*sb*tchd*mn*n*sv*g*n*r**r*nd*d**rh**

Thanks, I think that's totally gonna work.

Bye for now!
love,
Anne & Sydney

Metro 60 Second Interview

For the record, internet, I probably only said "totally" a handful of times....not the million they have in PRINT.

totally bad at interviews,
Anne

THE SINGLE IS FINALLY "COMING OUT"!

'Gay Boyfriend' will be released in the UK on Monday, November 10th and can be bought from HMV, Virgin and leading independent stores.

We're so excited!

One more thing about England...

I love the bacon!
English bacon is really something special. Things took a turn for the better the morning we had our first bacon sandwiches. . . no sauce, please.

Oh England, I miss you already. . . and your bacon.

Love,
Sydney

Hazzards Boot Camp

...Has officially come to a close. Sunday morning, we happily put on non-matching outfits for the trip home and made it back to New York safe and sound. We had so much fun in London learning new words and meeting new friends. It seems like a crazy dream.

Crap- Crap. ...but we had to sign a contract that said we wouldn't say this on live tv. Apparently its really bad.
Spotted Dick- A creamy, raisin-y dessert...that we bet we could mention on TV.
Cream Crackered- Cockney Rhyming Slang for the next entry.
Knackered- Tired.
Ruby- Cockney Rhyming Slang for Curry. Ruby Murray, Curry!

Goulash & Candy Corn

It was the moment we both were waiting for all week!

We appeared on Good Food Live Friday morning. It was awesome. Everyone was so nice and we got to sample the best food: Goulash, Pumpkin/Chicken chowder and a crazy chocolate dessert with fruit and nuts and whipped cream in it. If we had our way, we'd be back for every show. If we *really* had our way, we'd have been allowed to paint on our black moustaches! They're our favorite part of our French outfits but we got there too late for the higher ups to approve it. Oh well, still an amazing, spooky, and delicious way to spend Halloween.

...and for the record, UK...you are NOT allowed to give trick-or-treaters baked goods. Don't you know they have razors and drugs in them??! jeez.
