More DC!

Dear Blog,

While we played a little bit of Matchgame AM/PM and one round of Family Feud on our DC trip, the most popular car game this time was DC Analogies! They're fun, and they also made us smarter. Here's one DC Analogy for you...

Brian Kenny Fresno : San Francisco :: ________ : Washington, DC

It's safe to say we all scored 1600 in fun!

Another highlight of the trip for me was when we went to Applebee's before the show. I always think it's going to be hilarious to eat at a family restaurant, but it always ends up being crazy expensive. Our waitress was named Maeve. She had a cute hair-do, and Anne accidentally slapped her butt. When I asked her for a whisky and soda, Maeve asked me what kind of soda I wanted: Coke or Sprite? I thought that was pretty funny, but Maeve thought it was hilarious when I asked for a slice of lemon in it. But that was before Anne slapped her butt. It wasn't Anne's fault--Maeve had some weird thing hanging off the back that Applebee's made her wear. Maeve was very nice about it and said it happened all the time. Later, we ordered a sizzling dessert and it was delicious.

After our show, Ben taught us how to play Texas Hold-Em (Hazzards' Rules) and I won. Will may argue that he won, but he didn't. We tried our best to officially trash our hotel room that night.

Fun fact about Larry Poon: Not only does he say we are "good people" (nice!) and then make a hand job joke, he also uses the same blogger template as we do!

BTW, it wasn't my fault that I looked at Joe Bevillaqua's crotch, it was sticking out of his pants. And it wasn't because his pants were that tight!

Sick!

Love,
Sydney

P.S. OMG, our video for Shut Up & Make Out is finally done! We're planning its debut ASAP. Yeah!

P.P.S. I'm a temp again!!

Thanks DC!

The Hazzards had such an awesome time in DC this past Friday! Big thanks to Elliot in the Morning, The Elliot in the Morning listeners who drove an hour and got in car accidents to see us, The State Theater, The State Theater's rad sound crew, Rory Scovel, Larry Poon, Sultan the cookie man, the Maryland state cop who only gave us a warning, and Maeve (our waitress at Applebees). Special thanks to Ben from the Isotoners for filling in for Andy on Bass! Ben is hilarious and talented and handsome and spills a lot.

Check you later, DC.
love,
Anne

Come on, we're cuter than Seinfeld. Right?

Check us out in the Wasington Post Express today (we're on page 35, with Seinfeld)! And then check us out at the State Theater tomorrow!!

Sure, they call us dorky, but we think it's in a nice way: "Somehow, the New York duo's charm and dorky sense of humor bends the Tiny Tim effect to their favor."

Dear Diary: The summer stupids.

Dear Diary,
Summer is so awesome but we think we're forgetting everything we learned this year already. Yikes! Will you help us remember stuff, Diary?

Here are a few things we learned that don't want to forget:

1) The 3 branches of US government are the Judicial (The Supreme Court), the Executive (The Prez.), and the Legislative (Congress).

2) The difference between an animal cell and a plant cell is that a plant cell has chloroplasts and a rigid cell wall.

3) "Scooping" means making out. Here it is in a sentence: "Megan totally scooped on Matt Conners at Nicole's party last week".

Ok, bye! Gotta get to work. There are cages to clean and dead fish to scoop. (not that way!) gross.

DEAR DIARY: The quarter game?

Dear Diary,

Our cousin Melissa just told us that last summer she went to the movies with a boy and let him put a quarter down her shirt and then go get it too. Like 20 times! In her bra and everything! SICK! That is so weird. Even weirder, she told her mom about it. WEIRDEST! We'll be glad when she goes back to Tuscon, though she does have really nice shampoo and conditioner.

Wait, Is it weird that no one has tried to put a quarter down our shirts yet?

In other news, we held a red-tailed hawk at science camp today! And we disected one of its pellets and found a ton of mouse bones!!

We want to be the saddest

Watch us crying and eating. You'll have to follow the link to find out why we are crying, but I can tell you this much, we'll probably never eat brownies again.

Love,
Sydney & Anne

PS - We feel much better now, thank you.

PPS - We heard that you can vote once every minute for your favorite clip, not that we'd want you to cheat or anything.
